New Player list and kicking - press Tab (can be changed in settings) in multiplayer to see everyone in the game. The host of a private game can kick players directly. Anyone can start a vote kick, which passes with votes from half the players (at least 2) within 5 minutes. You can also vote by typing /votekick @country in chat.
