The rank becomes the price A multiplier for every rank — from +5% at Cru Bourgeois up to +40% at Grand Cru, paid on every channel a named wine can leave by: local sales, wholesale, chef contracts, importer deals and the auction. Wine shipped unnamed is unchanged. The committee only reads wines that carry a name. The NPC estates are paid the same — Clos Valois collects the Grand Cru multiplier too. The register does not take sides.
